104 slick or 103 extra??? which one reins supreme?
The slick is built very well has super strong landing gear that is quick to repair and the easiest to fly for average flyer. Does not rolling harrier or hover as good as the 103. But then I am not sure anything does. When there is no wind I can let go of the sticks for 5 or 10 sec's. The 103 does not spin as easy as my 104. Both planes are hands off knife edge when set up right. (Rudder only)
Hope that helps

My 60cc slick flys like a trainer. Real floaty. Going from a yak to a slick was night and day

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I had the AW 104 Yak and loved it. It is on the heavy side compared to other brands but it lasts.

the 104 is a little easier to hover, and a little better knife edge. Both fly great though. 104" is more stable in slow flight. 89" is more fun to hot dog

5:28pm here in the depths of the Western Cartel and everyone has already gone to bed. Streets are empty, wolves are howling and no one is sitting in the rocking chairs....
