Holy Cow...behind again!! Now that I'm back at the airport and made it through security and soon ready to board (and safe from the Western Cartel), I can publicly say I really miss the brothas in the Eastern Mafia, LOL

I may regret burning this bridge since I'll be back in Calgary next week, LOL!!

Jack... The PowerBox SRS systems are incredible, especially if you run Futaba... I run a pair of the 3ch SBUS Rx's in my jets which is cheap and really small and light and because it's SBUS there's only 1 wire from each Rx yet you can do up to 18ch and unlimited servos.

And as you said, the PBox are now way lighter and give you voltage regulation and redundancy and servo matching and.....

One other thing... In the new SRS menus, there is options for JR XBus or Jeti xbus and a European system, but of course Jeti and JR are still behind the times with serial bus technology, but they'll catch up

And the switch also acts as the menu select, so no more need to plug in a screen and controller !!

Yes I can see that working great on Jets as well. I hadn't realized they changed so much. I think Futaba and their SBus kick started them!!

Think I need an 18mz!

Looks like you guys had a good time. Beer and steak is always good.
Jeff.. We missed you at dinner. Would have been nice to meet you!!

BTW.. Dale and Brodie said you had a DLE111 for sale.... Hate to lowball you, but I'll take it for $75.00 . LOL

Jack... I have 3 PowerBox SRS Cockpit units in each of my 3 jets. Incredible functionality. Mix it with SBUS and it's killer. The Cockpit units also have integrated door / gear sequencing!! Not my cup of tea for the giant scale stuff but if you wanted a killer system, PowerBox ALL THE WAY

Hanes I'm hesitant because he just joined in Dec...6 posts and 1 feedback and most of all 4000km between!

Got ripped off years ago on a similar TX deal from your direction and this one looks eerily similar to me.

Got very lucky and a fine gent from the east was able to help me out a lot and got the rcmp involved and recovered my $1000 3 months later.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

It does seem like a deal to good to be true. It's a big discount and big piece of change to let go for chance
Let me do some leg work on my end.
