I loved my jetta, but it died in a customers driveway skipped a tooth on the good ol belt and well the rest is history, ran around town to dealerships and used car places looking at cars, having my wife with me to get a good price or we walked on many. We walked on so many dealerships want WAYYYY to much for used cars. Found a 2007 Toyota Matrix Auto blue for 7200$ in another city i travel to so much every week. Before hitting there we found a similar matrix they wanted $10,900 Mine had 79k on it, the one for 10k had 114kms..

Id love to pick up their AWD 5spd version, this think is comfy to drive and loads of room in it for helis & now jets

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Serious question.
I want to cut some carb gaskets. Case/insulator, insulator/carb for my 160. But I forgot to go to the auto parts store after work this AM. Any suggestions on what I might try as an alternate?
1) would a file folder, cardstock work?
2) If I need real gasket material, would Canadian Tire carry it?
Thank-you for any advice.

Hey dale. I think I got some green gasket from Canadian tire last time I was working on a motorbike. It was a sheet and you just cut it up

Yep.. The CTC's here in the E.M. carry the green sheets of gasket that you cut up... At least they did a year ago, LOL!

Hey Dan O,

Avatar question:
Did the Oilers start a Cheerleading squad somewhat like the Lightning?

I think its a great addition to the Arena!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

It's been a while. I actually thought they were the first in the nhl. But maybe it was just first canadian team. But yes they have a cheer squad. I was there over Christmas break. I tried to find the person responsible for choosing the squad and buy them a beer but I couldn't so I had to drink them all baha
