Honestly.... I don't know for sure.
But i had a wrist pin bearing , well the bearing cage disintegrated. All the needle bearings were still in the con rod wrapped around the wrist pin.

And I believe Gordon had a similar issue. I have heard of other DLE 55's having the exact same issue. They are all the same parts in both engines.

One of my old engines did the same thing. A DL100. The cage just fell apart. To be fair it did have a ton of time on it.

Yes, I agree. The best part was Jack holding up his hat after.

So the Version 3 still has the problematic wrist pin bearings? You think they would upgrade. Not the right thing to do, but the end user could, I guess.
