in the dirt bike world you rebuild the top end after around 20 hrs
i would think a top end tear down is not a bad idea every one or two seasons
3d guys beat them pretty hard add a good dose of gooner tuning and ---- go boom!
sled motors went to cageless years ago and so are the newer 2stroke dirtcycles
i know this will start crap but i have beat thousands of hard WOT riding on my sleds overthe years and i have always ran Amsoil
First tank of whatever it came from out of Valcourt then amsoil
