So then what will be left for tomorrow?

Or, has Scott got more humorous flight stories?

Yes Jack, and yet there are still those that say. Boy, I wish I could fly like that.

If they only knew the cost, ha-ha.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Had a mi-air a few years back with Harley from LARCS down at valley of hope. I was flying an ultra stick 40 with a candy box underneath, and he had a bashed twin Kadet all done up for camera work and candy drop. We took off and flew out together well but my prop hit his vert stab in a turn and he spun in. I was ok....dropped candy and landed safe. We had to tell the kids not to pick up the fuel soaked candy from the carnage of his plane. My only mid-air....and I wasn't happy to be part of wrecking such a nice bird. Sorry Harley

I find it frequent that guys say 'I had that plane! it was awesome!'

It sounds like that was years ago, but after shooting the sh!t for quite a while, you find out that it was only 8 or 9 months ago! and THEN you start adding up all the planes, motors, servos, pipes etc. they have had in between then and now!!!

Adds up fast!

sigh....and this year is just beginning

ps
John, i need that pipe... ROTFL!!

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Sure, like when I get asked. What kind of batteries do I run. "Oh, what ever I find in the field".

There goes Jack, laughing off his chair again!

It is inevitable, but i was surprised to hear that this was the first actual 'high-five' that these guys have had! even with all the active and multiple aircraft flights that they do every year....a few close ones i guess tho

quite impressive actually!

So now that they have this one out of the way, has the chances of further recurrences diminished.....???
