Jack I went back in the thread and cannot find out what happened to your hinges. What happened?

If I drive mine in I think I will do. 3dhs yak gotta love those yaks. Some people look at the yak 55 as the ugly duckling I see it as get the xxxx outta the way lol

Doug, I was packing it from the cargo trailer to take inside. I had it on its side and my deck is about 2 feet of the ground....yup...drove the one elevator right into the deck snapping every hinge off in the stab. amazingly it only chipped the paint on the bottom of the elevator. Everything else is like nothing happened. The material the hinges and horns are made do not take well to a side force as you likely know.

I just checked it and it's better than new Doug.

Truck doesn't come till Thursday, but it will be in there then!!

Think I'll keep some "hyped hysol" around. Hinges are like steel, but I did use carn fiber as well. Trial fit the elevator and it fits well. Tiny bit of cleanup and it's golden. I did use some in the fuse of the Sukhoi. I will run it later and see if it holds in there as well......great stuff and fantastic to work with!!!
