Yeah it was a cool motor. He did hint to a twin later on and a radial
No time frame though. The don't want to be confused with DA

I would love to get one for a 3DHS bigfoot. That 50cc 4 stroke is only about 35cc 2 stroke power. Maybe a little more. But it would make a Bigfoot rock

But 35cc power for thousand bucks. ....... not for me . Unless Loto Max pays me tonight LOL

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

One of the things that surprised me when I was on the phone with DA today was that the 35 has a unique prop drill pattern. I ordered a drill guide with it. It started off having the same pattern as the DLE last year. Who knows, maybe with the extra power there was a problem with cracking or something. Tony said the best props for it are the 20x8 to start and then a 21x8 later on. I will stay with a 20" prop and just move up to a higher pitch if I have to.

Edit: I went and checked the 3D views I had from last year and it was always 4 on 29mm circle. The DLE is 4 on 26mm. The 29mm circle is the same as the DA85/100/120 series but with only 4 M4 bolts instead of 6 M5 bolts.
