I was thinking about that. Going to be awhile before that airframe gets flying. I ran out of room.

Stopped and spoke with two modellers. Both at this for over 40yrs. They know our new flying friend, Dennis.
Told them about R/C Canada. They sounded excited to check it out.

Dale the programming on the sukhoi was great. Of course I couldn't help myself and played a bit. Pretty sure it's the best flying plane I have flow yet.

Nice Phil!!

Nice to see it's starting a wave from the WesT coast spreading EasT. Perhaps it'll infect everyone!!

Great photo of the old lodge Dale. I used to play darts in there when it was on the lakeshore at the Watson Lake airport. Your trip sounds awesome, and nice your getting to meet up with modellers up there. At many gas stations along your route you will see photos on the walls where aircraft landed on the highway and taxied in for fuel as a last resort. wouldn't that be a sight! Have an awesome trip.

Brodie, the man has at least one 3W 80. Meaning he knows smooth (but yes a GP88 is a smooth single).

Phil, everybody that has ever flown one, loves them. Many like me will own a second one (SukTwo).

Just landed in Terrace. We will rest well tonight.

Damn straight Jack. I sure like mine. Really looking forward to uping my fuel count this season. Using some big twins, the largest being a 3W 170!

Daryll, all new hi-way since my last trip. Lots of remnants running along side/crossing, etc. So many of those gas stations are closed up. Pretty much just the major stops now every 3hrs. Might be the longer range of vehicles now a days.

We have been seeing way more Bears than Mosquito's! But they havn't bothered us enough to start swatting them.
