I don't know how you guys burn so much fuel. I did 4 flights at 10 min flights each. I still had half a tank (1L tank). I guess that means I need to advance the left stick a little more ehh??

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

My 123 is reasonable on fuel as well. Last year my DA150 was the hardest, then my GP176 just plain flew a lot, helping with my fuel count.
This year the 3W 157 is the big drinker. And, oh I'm liking that set-up. 14 flights in less than 14 days, hmm again.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I have a new project for my DA150L. I was thinking about putting it in my Cub and toyed around with the idea of an Aeroworks Carbon Cub. But decided I am enjoying building too much to buy an ARF. I just ordered the AMR 120cc Stick with the optional rectangular rudder. It should be perfect for the 150. They seem to come in around 35 to 38 pounds and has a 120" span.

I think all the videos you fellas post is causing you to burn more time then fuel. BTW not everyone from the West can burn fuel like Dale. He might run his engines rich to get more fuel consumption. (Wait for it).

Nice Doug, always wanted one of those. Perhaps I'll end up with one yet!!

You'll need a full basement just to build it! Be a great combo...
