WOW!

Bring that down for our meeting. You can take my picture holding it. Oh Jack might get worked up.

Can do...

Jeff The wing chord is about the same as your stick, it is 26". Just a bigger span I think. So each wing should be about 60" by 26". That should still fit in a bag no problem.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Oh I was chatting with Dany on FB and he checked the prop clearance for me. It is 16.5" to the center of the firewall. If I move the engine up an inch and use a 30x12 prop I will have 2.5" of prop clearance when the fuselage is level.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I'm starting to think that Doug is the W.C.'s version of our Scaleguy . We call it Jim's Hobby Shop here since most is new in box at discounted rates.

Only I think our Scaleguy flies more

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

LOL!! Actually in all fairness, Jim has been flying a fair bit this year so far. I think the only one out West to have burnt more than Jim is Dale

Excited to hear the name of Doug's Hobby Shop.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Doug is the owner of A N A L hobbies. If it is not perfect he doesn't have it. Greatest hobby store in Northern Alberta.
Watch for the spring liquidation sales and the Scratch and dent sales throughout the year.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

ROTFL!!!

Nice! You guys are lucky to have that type of a Hobby Store

Jim's Hobby Supplies here in the East specializes more on the smaller-ticket items - endless selection of hardware, building materials, small electronics, etc. Jim usually has it vs the LHS's because he's bought them all out, LOL.

Trevor, lately I've only able to burn fuel on You-Tube. Before breakfast usually.

A N N A L hobbies has more selection of nuts and bolts, hardware, servos and props than most hobby stores. He even has the organizers and the little baggies for your parts. Most times the only cost is the replacement value. I am not sure if he realizes it, but most of the fellas would be waiting for a shipment if it was not for him. Apparently, he is stocking up on ARF's and kits for his retirement.
