Re: DLG/HLG Gliders Thread

Hey I've been able to buy an unbuilt Evolution W kit directly from a guy that changed its mind. This kit is unfortunately discontinued.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2337864

It's in the mail now. Woody Zone V2 airfoil and kevlar/CF pod&boom. It should launch to 40+m, way better than my Libelle.

Re: DLG/HLG Gliders Thread

So, who's been out flying this year? I've made it out twice myself, but the weather for the next little while looks not-so flying friendly.

Re: DLG/HLG Gliders Thread

I've only had my DLG out three or four times this year so far. We had a very wet beginning to the year, and I find it hard to throw a DLG in rubber boots.

I did have a 40 minute flight with my Tweagle last week though, I just didn't feel like coming down!

Re: DLG/HLG Gliders Thread

I'been out almost everyday in the last 3 weeks. Rubber boots and all. The clay in the fields is just too funny. Walk out 30 feet and come back with 40 extra pounds on boots. Crappy weather but enjoying it. Yesterday very gusty and cold, there were some really strong but tight thermals. Circling violently in about a 15' r. The sinks were just as bad ; ) 7 - 10 minute flights were easy.
