DJI F550 Naza V2 GPS And Futaba T8FG

I am very new to Multicopters and am attempting the setup phase.
I am having a lot of difficulty in understanding how it all works and am hoping someone in the vicinity of Hamilton Ontario with multicopter experience could help me set up this rig. Copter is assembled and naza assistant is downloaded. Not sure what the best setup for transmitter is.
I am using a single wire receiver bus only. Not sure if all other servo wires need to be used.
Any help would be appreciated

Ralph- I cant stress this enough- Follow the Naza manual step by step. Its one of the better written Multicopter FC manuals out there.

Read and follow the hookup/setup instructions in the manual and the Naza Assistant one step at a time. If you do that, you will have a perfect set-up.

Set up your TX for "airplane"

If you are using a PPM bus, you only need the single wire going from the PPM out of the receiver into the Naza. Then all you need to do in assistant is go to the "basic" tab, select the "RC" sub-tab, and at the top center select "PPM" as the Receiver Type.

If you have more questions, ask.

In this day and age, help is also available online via Skype. I recently helped another guy(Stan) on here using Skype to set up his quad. It only took a few minutes. More can be asked/shared/learned face to face or on Skype than can be done on the internet one post at a time. In Stan's case, he made a few simple boo-boo's that most beginner's make because the stuff is easy but confusing for the first timer. After he learned the little tricks, he is pretty much on his own because now he "gets it". Consider that option as well
