Re: Question of the day

All relationships are to be mutually gratifying.
You seem like you may have something on your chest... something that you might want to take up with, your LHS.

Re: Question of the day

I like the LHS, I like supporting them. The downfall is that China sells direct these days, so who knows how much longer the smaller chains will last.

Re: Question of the day

Our shop in Burlington is unmatched as far as I'm concerned. Always give me deals and always support their product 100%.
If I buy some lipos they solder the ends on for me at no charge. Most of the time when I'm there someone goes for coffee and always bring me one back, no charge.
Super friendly and extremely knowledgable on everything RC.
I shop nowhere else!!

Re: Question of the day

I agree with Nick - my relationship with my LHS is a two-way street. They're awesome and I shop there whenever I can.

Re: Question of the day

I support my LHS, I buy 95% of my stuff from them, the other 5% is from two other Canadian sources. And in return they support me by pointing out specials I might be interested in, and when new releases are showing up. they also help me out with warranty issues and ordering parts they don't usually stock.

Re: Question of the day

I do have a LHS (literally a 10 minute drive) but I shop mostly online from other Canadian sources.

Re: Question of the day

I like to support my LHS. He often gives me a matched price to online sources. The only downside is waiting until he places an order. If I want it faster, then I have to order online and either pay more due to shipping or look for a source with free shipping.

Re: Question of the day

Great question. I'm middle of the road. When I need support and to have a discussion I'll pay the premium of my LHS. If I'm just ordering parts for replacement or upgrade etc. I find price point drives my choice in choosing where I go.
