I love this little heli. 3 years running, long flight times, very stable, flies harmlessly indoors, and takes a severe beating from the kids nerf guns at times.
I was wondering is the mcx2 comparably better than the original. Any one who has had both have a good opinion on this.

It's a little better, though it isn't much different. Almost the same design, slightly more powerful though. Cool flashy lights too

If yours is still chugging along, I'd hold off on it. There really isn't too much of a difference, heck I like my mcx a little more just because of sentimental reasons haha

That being said, if your 5-in-1 unit or something else expensive dies, it'd make a good replacement.
