OMG! Perhaps the Silhouette cutter is that illusive element that brings together husband and wife, boyfriend and girlfriend at the fringe of this hobby

Thanks, Chris, for your feedback at post #123. And, yes, your explanation was quite clear. Much appreciated.

Cheers,

Peter

This has been the easiest 'sell' that i have had in the hobby!! My wife is asking for stuff all the time, and goes crazy with the stickers of the kids names! Sometimes gets upset when the stash gets low!

Bring it on!

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

There are so many applications! I personalized these water bottles for my daughter's last birthday, and my wife created the wall art for our coffee bar. Really, it's not an addition to our R/C hobby. It's a completely new one, lol. I even did the beer fridge in my shop!

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

Here's an example of the heat transfer, it's really easy to work with. The graphic has to be cut in a mirror image (backwards) and then the transfer is flipped over and ironed on. Works really well.

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

I wonder if it is possible to create a area here on RCC where we upload our silhouette project file. We are kinda doing the same thing and we could share the files. What do you think administrator?

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

Hi,

Awesome work here guys! I am learning a ton, and picking up cool ideas as well! Thanks to all!! Keep it up!

I decided I wanted a larger Monokote decal than the Cameo could supposedly cut on a mat.

So using a method I picked up here on RCC, I 'windexed' the Monokote down to a vinyl sheet to act was the carrier.

I will maybe try to clean up the video and add decent voice-overs in time (not happy with the my audio part yet), but I hope you enjoy it and maybe get something out of it!

Cheers

Scott
