I don't know how to get it to printscreen but is an underline to all my letters as a blue squiggly line, like the underline in this reply box when you spell something wrong.

What are you trying to spell? I can type it into my system and see if it works.

I have not upgraded my software since I bought it.

Anything that is text has the underline. CF-DLL
I did the latest update so maybe I will have to go back to the old one, which I didn't know how to use either...

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

OK, there is no line in my software. works fine.
Not sure if it has to do with version tho.

it may just be your spell check is too sensitive, or you need to add that Reg/wording to your library.

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

I am going to try and go back to the old sw and see if that does it. Driving me nuts and the help section of the software doesn't
How do I reinstall the older version? I am using windows 7 and have the cd's for the original silhouette but don't know how to get the new version uninstalled.

Mine also has the line. Did a cut and it didn't appear on the finished product.

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

Just figured out what it is, It is a spell check feature. Squilley underline indicates the word is misspelled or not recognized. Right click on the word and it will give you suggestions

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

Will try that again. Sucks to be old and not very computer literate.

I was wondering if that's perhaps the problem. There must be a way to turn off spell check. I'm still running the original software version and until I learn of a valid reason to upgrade, I'll stick with what I have; I just typed into the program the reg letters that Lash provided and had no spell check warnings.

Lash: Don't fret. You could be the most computer literate person around and still be plagued by program quirks. I'm sure you'll find a solution in short order.

Re: Vinyl Graphics Cutters

OK, I managed to find out the spell check was on auto and I got it turned off so all is ok for that. What material thickness setting would you use for the Mactac 8300 vinyl that comes from
