Airbrush Recommendation

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I need an airbrush recommendation for aircraft finishing and related detail work i.e weathering etc. It also needs to be of a size and quality to finish a Top Flite giant Corsair (86" wing) in British Fleet camouflage colors.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance,

Gary A

Re: Airbrush Recommendation

I have two. One is an automotive detail brush, perfect for camo on large scale warbirds, and doesn't require reloading paint every minute. Second one is a nice Badger 2 stage, for smaller stuff, weathering, etc. Why buy just one? lol

Re: Airbrush Recommendation

I agree with Dave, Gary. You need two guns. An automotive detail / door jam type gun and an airbrush. An airbrush alone is just too small to do a nice job on a bird of that size.

I have a Binks Cub gun and use a Grex airbrush. I have an Iwata brush as well but, like the Grex much better.
