Re: 30CC Hanger 9 Beaver

Help with your lights..There is a young lad in AURORA,IL WHICH runs a company called rc lighthouse which has done work for me in the past and does a amazing job which will build u flashing strobes and led clear lights for your wing ..Lights for the vertical stab or lights for the bottom of your plane..What i liked is he builds them with cannector plugs that join from wing to fuse and at a price that is good and not about ripping u off..Good guy .Good service.Good pricing RC LIGHTHOUSE..

Phoned RC Lighthouse yesterday and talked to Lee. Explained what I was looking for and was told they don't make alternating flashing units. Will keep looking at other sources.

I followed your link. The last update was December 2007. Their message says "Curtek Systems is not currently manufacturing or distributing Navigational Lighting Systems"

Re: 30CC Hanger 9 Beaver

Hello again,
Been working on installing the new DLE 35 ra engine. This is a rear exhaust, rear carburater engine. Had to modify the firewall box. Cut off 3/4" on the backside as it was hitting the instrument panel. Installed 1/4" ply triangles for the back plywood of the box to attach to as I have to have access to the engine standoff bolts. Took about 2 hrs to fit and install the dash. The gas tank will be protruding into the cockpit but will be able to see how much fuel is in the tank. Made up an A123 battery for the ignition yesterday. Also cut off the front portion of the engine box as it was not serving any purpose. Going to the Aurora swap meet tomorrow.
Here's a few more pics.
