Hey guys, love the builds. For getting to the mixture screws i have used subway straws. They fit right over the springs and needles on the carb then get glued to a mount so they don't move. Just need to put the holes in the cowl so you can see the straws. I cut the straws so they come up to about 1/4 inch of the cowl. They guide the screwdriver right to the needle and hold it in place so you can adjust the high end at full throttle, makes for a very quick and easy tuning job.

Re: 30CC Hanger 9 Beaver

A heads up for hanger9 beaver owners. I took mine out to the field today and when I fueled it up the gas was leaking out of the fuse really bad. I've had about 10 flights with no problems so far. Pumped the gas out and removed the cowl. Took the gas tank out and found that the stopper in the tank had disintegrated. This was the stopper that came with the tank. It is made of black rubber and I suspect it was made for glow fuel and not for gasoline. Nothing in the manual about using the proper stopper.
Have replaced it with the stopper designed for gasoline. Will put it back together tomorrow and try again. I am going to phone customer support at Horizon on monday and let them know about this incident
