This one didn't make the trip so well. Like all the engines I get from the same guy it was bubble wrapped to about the size of a basketball.
Just goes to show again how well our merchandise is handled when trusted to the PO.
Box was obviously drop kicked into the truck and then back out again.
Flywheel broke clean off as well as the NVA broken off. I can fix the NVA but I need a complete crank made.
Insurance.....sure, only takes 6mths of BS and still no guarantee you will get anything. Been down that road before!

Re: real nice BUSTED stationary engine

Bummer Bill, so are you going to make a new crank for it?

Re: real nice BUSTED stationary engine

Hmmm .... given that CP is a Crown Corp .... I'm guessing they made all possible efforts to make sure it was well taken care of in transit .... equal to the serive we recieve from all the other government offices that take we have to deal with from time to time ....

Re: real nice BUSTED stationary engine

I don't know how they do it but sometimes they manage to break even the best protected stuff.

How does the old saying go?

"Some kids could break a crow bar in a sand box!"

So sorry to see that Bill!

Re: real nice BUSTED stationary engine

Not a bad idea but I'm not sure anyone would want to hear me sing.

Re: real nice BUSTED stationary engine

Thanks Merv, no point in bitchin to anyone at the PO. The one that did it will never be found. May his bag be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels.
