Thanks Michael, as it was a long build for me but a very enjoyable one as I haven't done really any building for a few years it was nice to get back into. I used Hanger 9 Parklite for the yellow and some monocoat black I had on hand to covering and to power the plane I have a Turnigy 480 feeding through a 30amp Turnigy controller and be powered by a Thunder Power 2/1800 45c pack, spinning a very large 11/5.5 apc which is why it only needed 1/3 throttle. If I remember I was around the 18 amp mark for draw at full throttle with the setup but I would have to recheck as it was a while ago. I'm over his weight by only 2 ozs which its much for a 42" span bipe(he calls for a weight of 18ozs). It was a great build and a joy to build but even more of a rush to see light under the wheels for the first time. John

That is so nice John! It's making me itch to start that rubber powered Gillows Stearman kit I have tucked away for a rainy day!
Hang time does not apply to ceiling fans, light fixtures, overhead door tracks or basketball nets!
