Re: bubbles in fuel line help

Could be any number of problems. For a peace of mind i would just renew all the fuel lines and fittings. One mystery problem that pops up from time to time is plane starts acting up after flying 10-12 mins. Could be inside your tank when its full is not a prob, but when fuel level is low its exposing a leak at the stopper inside the tank where the fuel lines attach. Repeated moving of fuel lines inside tank will wear at the fuel line where it connects to the brass tube through the stopper inside the tank.

Re: bubbles in fuel line help

It is quite normal for old brass tubing to crack or split. Use your refuel pump to pump the fuel around in circles and notice where the bubbles start. Wiggle all connections.

Re: bubbles in fuel line help

I had this happen on 2 piece inline fuel filters this summer. I replaced the first one and the problem was still there so I spent another 2 hours trying to figure out the problem. Then I took out the new inline filter and problem solved.
