Hi all,

I'm new to the RC world and looking to purchase my first RC Short Course truck.

I've narrowed it down to two that are available for sale locally and needed some help decising whihc would be the better fit.
I'm only going to use this to drive around on orad and off road track, and mainly for fun and as a hobby but not necessarly for competition or races. I'm looking for something that's reliable and Fast. the faster the better. There's barely any price difference between the two trucks.

The 1/10 2wd Blitz comes with:
MIP Drive shaft
ARM A-arms
Integy Shocks
Duratrax Element Brushless system (made by Castle)
Spektrum DX3C remote and Spektrum receiver
HPI E motor heatsink
Proline Beadlocks rims with tires
5000 NIMH battery
AKA tires with rims

The 1/10 4x4 Slash VXL

1/10 Scale Scott Douglas / Mike Oberg Edition

* Velineon Extreme Brushless Power System
* TQ 2.4Gh Radio System w/ Traxxas Link
* Torque Control Slipper Clutch
* Shaft Driven 4WD w/ Revo Spec Differentials
* 7Cell (8.4v) 3000mAh Battery Pack / Charger
* Upgraded Front / Rear RPM A-Arms

Again my main use would be to just drive on offorad tracks and have fun and Speed is definitly important. I will definitly add a LIPO to either package once I purchase the truck.

Re: Slash 4x4 VXL or Blitz w/ Duratrax Element

Without a doubt, get the Slash 4x4. If you are primarily using it to drive for fun and bashing then just the fact that the Slash is 4WD makes it the one to get. Four wheel drive just makes everything better!

And definitely get some LiPo batteries and throw the Nimh's back to the 90s lol
