front diff cup on rc8

Well, for some strange reason my rc8 keeps throwing it's front diff cup that the center driveshaft goes into. Yesterday I lost it on my first 6s run. Went and bought a new one today and installed it with threadlocker on the set screw. One run and it was gone again, anyone got any ideas?

Re: front diff cup on rc8

I'm not familiar with your truck, but I have had similar issues with a vintage buggy I ran.
In my case, there was a very slight bend in my dog bone. It was hard to detect until I ran a camera and slow motion.
The slight bend was enough to create the vibration to work the grub screw loose.
Odds are there is a bend in your shaft or the cup isn't perfectly straight.
