I tried making a folded wood footy last fall and after having trouble getting it to work I gave up.
So I decided to just carve it out of solid foam. This allowed me to make a fully profiled hull.
Lofted in Solidworks.
Generated a tool path with Sketucam
Carved out of 2" blue foam on the phlatprinter (this is the max depth and took around 3 hours.)
