thats really cool thanks for the insight.. i thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the hobby and i think soldering and creating your own quad would be super satisfying, frustrating and rewarding at the same time, just like any worthwhile endeavor.

Re: Lost phantom 2 NEED HELP

The WKM & A2 are developed for heavier rigs, the algorithms are different and the whole attitude feedback loop runs faster. They have a higher resolution IMU setup and the GPS is also different to the rest of the Naza family.
They are both well polished products and you have all the tweaking you need in the assistant software. In my experience the open source software packages are simply too nerdy to be of much use to anyone who doesn't spend 23hrs a day in a basement.

The Naza V1/V2 is perfectly fine for most rigs, the extra money for the WKM/A2 is wasted unless you need to carry a bigboy camera setup on a heavy bird.

The MK works fine if you can drive the software but you only got to look at it to see it's got some way to go before it can be regarded as a main line product, it looks like a lego experiment.

TBH Most DJI haters have issues with their controllers because they can't afford them, it's that simple. Once you get past the fact that even the best products experience failures, there's nothing much to say against them. I am happy to pay extra for a product that has a manual, all comes together in one box, a central online software repository and which works.

Re: Lost phantom 2 NEED HELP

I own a Phantom, A2, Wookong-M, MultiWii, Naza-M V1 w/GPS, Naza V1 w/o GPS and a Multikopter controller and out of all of them, the A2 and Wookong-M are way ahead.

The Multikopter has way more options as mentioned, but 90% of them are very specific to certain applications.

The Mikrokopter sits in my workshop while all the other fly all the time. From what i've tested, it is not as accurate, not as fast to react, not as smooth and the 250m limitation is VERY annoying.

I switched my main craft from Mikrokopter to Wookong-M and would not go back.

Just my opinion...
Cars: Traxxas ERBE, Rustler, Stampede, Tamiya TA05
Helis: Blade 450 3d, MCPX, Prôtos, 130X and more..
Planes: UMX Beast
Multi Rotors: SCR Heavy-6 925mm, DJI F550, F450 on 6S, nanoQX, mQX, and many many more..
