My observations about Litehawk. Disclaimer: I don't own nor have I tried one.
They are being sold in mostly non-hobby stores and state that they have parts support. Most of what I've seen has been from their web site. I've found them to be what I'd call tier 3 hobby grade. They have parts support but I don't know how readily available the parts are nor what their quality is like. Futureshop/Best Buy/The Source are selling them as well and their web sites have parts listed.
The Surge looks like it might be a Costco exclusive which may make parts support really hard to come by. The other issue is you will be paying shipping on any parts you order from their web site.
My 2 cents is to stick with a mainstream hobby grade truck and steer clear of these guys. They are getting better but still not there with the big-boys.
Current models: Hobbico Nexstar Electric, Parkzone Spitfire Mk IX , several micros/small helis. Nothing nitro/gas.
