Hyperion Battery Source

I'm looking to get a bunch of Hyperion batteries for my electric planes and was wondering if anyone knows of a good dealer in or that can ship decently inexpensively to Canada? Shipping lipos from the US is almost non-existent now. I'm looking for 1-3s and 160-1300mah batteries. It would be great if I could get them all at the same place to save on shipping as most places I've found with hyperions only have a small selection.

Re: Hyperion Battery Source

in those small sizes, why not just get Hobbyking batteries from the US warehouse? Not going to be a lot of difference in performance in those small sizes, but price will be a fraction and massively huge selection. Shipping is super fast and super cheap.

Re: Hyperion Battery Source

Phone Action Hobby in Calgary, speak to Donette or Bob. I have bought a tonnnnn of Hyperions from them. Great prices.

They may need to order them in but may stock some in those sizes.

Re: Hyperion Battery Source

Thanks for all the suggestions. I managed to find a what I needed from Heli pro shop. As for why the Hyperions over the HK batteries its just a personal preference. I had bought about 6 Nano tech batteries from HK about a year ago and out of those 6 four are pretty much dead (won't hold any charge that I can fly with) two work just passably in UMX planes for about 2-3 minutes and the last one seems okay for now. Compared to two hyperions of the same sizes that I bought at the same time both of which still work great. This is with the all being taken care of not hitting LVC and being storage charged when not in use.
This is just my personal preference to buy more expensive batteries and know they will be working when I want them to and at what I have experienced as better performance. Just some info for anyone reading
