Re: micro radian

I have one, wonderful little glider for backyard flying.
Just like it's bigger brother, better than expected!

Re: micro radian

Just got one last night- Great Hobbies and Paris junction both have them- Skycraft is supposed to have some this week- haven't even unboxed it yet since it is forecasted to rain for the next few days with high winds.

Will give impressions once I have a chance to try it.

Re: micro radian

looks good, there are many good reports on it. The only thing that stops me from getting one, aside from having too many gliders already, is the feeling that this summer will be mostly windy, last year had more windy days and it seems to be building stronger this year. Maybe it would be cute to hang it up over the TV anyway!

Re: micro radian

I think I will pick one up for those calm early morning/late evening flights.

Looks like a fun little flyer to keep in the car, and pop out for a quick flight!

Re: micro radian

Well I have one for a couple of weeks now. My impression as well as other club members is...this little powered glider is a real pleasure to fly. With the AS3X stabilization you can fly this little guy in windy conditions. I have had flights of up to 10 minutes air time so far with just the little 150mah battery. Despite the cool weather we have had, I had the glider in some thermals and that was fun.
Just keep it assembled, a handful of batteries and you would have a full day of flying if you wanted.

Re: micro radian

I finally got to fly my micro Radian, what a nice relaxing little glider. it handled the wind fairly well at one point I had it almost going backwards, it may have been a bit windy, I easily got 8 min flights in it, I did a couple of loops some with the motor on some with the motor off. one thing to be careful of is on one loop the battery came un velcrod. it stayed connected and just hung there until I could land.

It reminds me a bit of the old Hobby Zone Aerobird.
