Boat Rebuild

Hi. I am new to this forum and looking for some advice. I am about to start a rebuild on the boat in the attached pictures. It is 43in long and 13.5 in wide. I would like it to go fairly fast. What size electric motor would be required to power a boat this size. The boat is setup for water-cooling if needed. Also where would the best place be to get parts. I need pretty much everything except for a rudder and prop shaft, plus the mount bracket for those two items. Any Advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Boat Rebuild
Not much of an xpert and can't tell you the size of motor but here's what I understand..
If you have enough air coming in the hull, watercooling's not so impotant meaning you can shop airplane, or other kind of electric motors. The esc will need to be waterproof incase you flip over, though i don't know if lipo's are waterproofable, if you can do that you're golden. What really blew my budget getting into fe's is beyond the boat, components, and lipo's, was the charger and powersupply.
