Carbs, for what it's worth?

My carb became bad to adjust last year and I thought it was bearings due to it's age and slobber from the front bearing. So this year in went the bearings and it still was not dependable. It would still change it's setting as if it had a mind of it's own. In frustration I blocked off the exhaust stinger with a finger, turned it over with the starter and fuel shot out where the needle valve is pressed into the body of the carb (adjustment side of the needle). So some time ago it must have had a bad swat to loosen the system up as it is pressed in. Also there is an o ring at the seat of the needle on this GMS carb. Now I'm wondering if blocking off the stinger and turning over the motor with needle removed my clear debris from the venture?

Yes you can back flush it this way. If you can't find new orings get some green slime from team associated and use it on the o rings. It will help seal them up and will withstand the nitro fuel.
