Here is my project, Let me know if you have any ideas I could use and please send your support.
A fun and exciting hobby that can be enjoyed at all ages.
By landscaping 1 to 2 acres of land for Remote Control miniature car racing - 'also called RC racing', our goal is to create a set of premiere a RC racetracks that will draw growing numbers of competitors, attendees, and sponsors to Port Hawkesbury for weekend long activities of family and child friendly events. RC Cars are usually under 12 inches long but are no bigger than 24 inches. Most models run quietly on electric engines.
Marketing materials will encourage gatherings of 10 to 30 teams of competitors, to converge on the RC racetrack for a fun and family oriented day of races and competitions.
The current plan and designated area will sustain
- 1 three foot high competitors platform to observe the race from an elevated perspective
- 10 to 40 visitors per day for 2 - 3 days - or a weekend.
- 10 to 30 parked cars
- 2 to 3 temporary shelters
- 2 waste/recycling receptacles + central waste for private waste collection
The land is owned by my family. About half the budget will be used for for 1 time purchase items to improve the existing infrastructure such as gravel, $700 is set aside for RC lap timers for racing most of the other half will be for rentals like a skidsteer or rental of event related items (port-a-johnny, waste collection, temporary shelters)
The remaining amount will be used for marketing - signage, printing, and social networking
Let me know what you think. and if you know anyone in Nova Scotia please pass it along to them. and of corse if your ever in the area please feel free to drop in and say hi.

Awsome ideas hope it takes off but hard to get peeps organized down here not even to mention come out and help. I've been building my track all on my own the last month or so.
I'm just getting going for fun and gather some peeps to get my interest into the hobby.
Good luck my friend.
