Hello folks

I am fairly new to the quadcopter side of the hobby. ive owned a Neo Nex for a month now that I purchased here on RCG.

I dont plan on putting my DSLR on the aircraft. If i decide to do AP, which I dont see happening, itll be the GoPro. So heavy lift is not what I am aiming for, it'll just be for sport flying.

The frame Ive decided to go with is one of the links below.

- I know I want the Naza Lite with GPS.
- Want a 4S setup
- 10-12 minute flight time per pack, if possible

I have questions about the following:

- which size props to use?
- would an emax 30a 4-in-1 ESC give sufficient power?
- would my current t-motor mt4006 740kv motors be powerful enough or would i need something in the 300kv to 400kv range?

Re: ATG 640mm

The mt4006 740kv seems like the ideal motor for that size frame. Its rated for a 10" prop.

If you want to go with a larger prop, then yes, you would need lower KV. But how much bigger do you want to go? 12"? 14"?

Higher RPM gives you better stability when in flight.

The specs for that motor show Max Continuous current is 24A, and Max Continuous Power is 250W. Given a 4S pack, a 30AESC should do it.
