pitts special aileron link prob

hi i have a probleme when i try to setup my alieron link ( upper and lower aileron )with link rod and horn when i push the lower aileron up it ok the upper and lower aileron are equal is ok but when i go down it a diffrent story the lower aileron is at like 1/4in down and the upper airleon is fully down i dont know what do do i am using the dubro T-Style Control Horns carbon rod and kwik link can any one help my with that thx

Geomitrry issue. use the bottom holes in the horn, one closest to the control surface, then make certain they are both lined up on the T/E of the aileron. That should solve the issue. you can cut off the unused portion of the horn

thx for the fast reply i am french when you tell `` make certain they are both lined up on the T/E of the aileron do you meen the leading edge of the aileron with the holes in the horn ?

To work properly, the pivot pin must be at the trailing edge of both ailerons. You could make them from aircraft plywood. Cut a slot in the trailing edge and insert the ply and glue. I'll see if I can find a pic to give you a better idea. Here you go.
