Anyone tried the Icon A-5 from KMP vs Parkzone?

I am looking for anyone with experience on the 71" Icon A-5 from Kondor Model Products. Its a big foam electric. Looking for flight characteristics and ability to perform intermediate sport aerobatics vs the smaller 52" Parkzone Icon A-5. I found a used one for sale and just got access to a great lake flying site so I thought I would try it. Can't seem to find any reviews or videos online. Comments please?

The KMP version is amazing. Its big and its gentle. It flies similar to the Sklywalker, and makes a great FPV bed. Mind you, the Parkzone one is pretty darned good off water as well. Its just smaller and seems to have a lot more prop-noise.

Either one is a winner, it all depends on your budget and how big a car you have...

Re: Anyone tried the Icon A-5 from KMP vs Parkzone?

I have KMP ICON and it's a beautiful flying model. Handles great on water, snow and flies just like a trainer. Very docile and no bad habits at all. Last winter I flew it quite a few times when it wasn't windy n frigid cold. Looking for a motor hatch cover for it, if anyone has one from crashed model, do let me know.
