Guys can someone pls suggest a decent quad for mid price point ?

Good for kids and an adult pilot too.

Something nice with a good value.

Re: Quad choice

A lot of guys here seem to recommend the micro quads for starters. They are more forgiving than the larger helis and teach you all you need to know about flying and orientation. Once you master this, the larger ones are no different.

The only difference is you now know what you are doing and are less likely to wreck the larger one now that you have some skill.

Re: Quad choice

I got a Latrax Alias and would recommend it to anyone starting out. 3 levels of difficulty, adjustable rates in each. Reasonable price. I hit the side of my garage and it fell into my rain barrel and sank to the bottom. I took it apart, dried it out and flies just like new. Pretty tough machine and strong enough to handle a good breeze. Can fly indoors (under control) for hovering and slow maneuvers. Happy with it so far. Some have had issues with motors burning out but if you give it a rest between flights should have no problems (i don't fly more than 2 batteries in a row without a little cool down break and have had no issues.)

Hope this helps

Re: Quad choice

The Blade 350 QX with the GPS enhancements is a great quad or the DJI Phantom. Both have built in safety features and return to home abilities.
Moving up is the 3D Robotics IRIS with GPS waypoint programming capabilities, lots of choices.
Good luck,
