Here is a motor mount I made many yrs ago for a Cap 10B and had a Quadra 42 at the time. Now it has been electrified but used the same rubber isolated mount. The rubbers are made from the fuel tank rubbers that go into Skidoo tank. One on either side of the 1/4 in ply firewall. There is a piece of copper fuel tubing that goes through the rubber to the big flat washers that you can see. Nuts and bolts are up tight where it's mounted to the firewall. With the motor running, there is very little vibration that you normally see at the tail surfaces. A lot of work but well worth it. This plane is almost 20 yrs old and still going strong.
Tried for my kamikazi pilots licence. Flunked the test.
