A Brazilian scheme could be a lot of work...If you don't wax it regularly soon it will just look like another Beaver.

Re: Beaver Fever in Southern Ontario

With such large flaps a Brazilian theme may not be very flattering for this beaver.

Hey Dude, I've got a Turboprop in my Tucano - it belongs there. Still maintain it ain't a Beaver without the radial.

I flew the Tucano in the Victoria air show a few weeks ago and there was a guy from the US that had a 1/3 Scale Stearman with a Moki 250. The sound those Mokis make is fuggin incredible....

Re: Beaver Fever in Southern Ontario

WOW!! I missed soo much today!!

Great point about the Brazilian scheme... The thoughts of having to wax it all the time would be onerous!!!

And yep... A radial and a turboprop are the ultimate in sound

We started our vacation today and made it to Washington D.C. Stopped in Pennsylvania for a pit stop and found a pump for Kerosene $ 4.19/Gal is insane. Makes me want to move here

Trev,

You look like you're in love with that fuel pump.

Love the name Sheetz Kerosine.

Paul... I figure if we leave all our luggage behind and I find a big bladder, I could probably get 200+ litres in the back of the van ... It'd nearly pay for the vacation

Re: Beaver Fever in Southern Ontario

Woohoo! We got back from a very sweet vacation late this afternoon. 3546km and the Honda purr'd like a kitten, LOL.

I had wet beaver on the brain so got back into things tonight

Next step on the floats was to get the front and rear retracts bolted in and got the air plumbing done. Tomorrow I'll start on the side and top sheeting.

This float will have the JetTronic's Double Electronic air controller and the other float will have the air tank. I use these exclusively in my jets - best controllers in the world German engineering and Honda like reliability
