Re: Airplane trailer Wing rack ideas

I used adjustable shelf brackets covered with pipe foam. Brackets are secured with a screw.
In between them, I have a piece of vinyl siding J trim that I use to secure the end of a bungee cord that hooks on the T.E of the wing to hold it in place.

On the bottom of my pull out shelf, I build a rack from some CPVC plumbing parts.

This is a universal stand that adapts to any fuse and wing. These are made with cargo strap but strips of carpet work just as well.

Re: Airplane trailer Wing rack ideas

For fuselages I use the adjustable shelving like Thunder Chicken but for the wings I have racks/pegs that fit into holes in strips of 2x3" spruce. The great thing about these is they can be removed easily in case you need to use the trailer for something else temporarily.
