Old shuttles flew great in their day but by today's standards they are crap.

I too paid a fortune for my shuttles when they were in style. I agree, 50$ seems to be the most you will get. Funny thing is, if you part it up and sell it in bits on Ebay, you can make more than 50$ by selling the bits here and there to people who need replacement parts on Ebay. (At least that's how it appears....YMMV!)

Hi Greg

I'm currently working on converting a Shuttle ZX to brushless. Hirobo sells a conversion kit but its cheaper if you buy a mount and pick your own motor. Do a search on ebay. As far as upgrading your old shuttle I'm pretty sure the newer shuttle parts will fit your older shuttle.

i still have my very first shuttle,( 1987) in my shop. It was one of the machine of its time. Its good for a sunday afternoon flying.
