It would be just OK for many of the lighter Flyfly jets. Interesting that Findhobby has 1200-1600kv listed for the motor. Which one is it? If there is a 1200kv available for 8s, it might be OK but who knows? I personally would buy just the kit as the PNP servos are also likely questionable.
Ok agreed there are certainly a lot of question marks with this model the way its listed, but you cant really expect a metal inrunner fan/motor and top quality electronics for that price.
With many of these pnp foam jets you get enough to simply get you in the air, 'lame' performance and all

What you can do is use the included power system in another project and upgrade this one to whatever performance level you need, probably more value than going with the kit.

Re: Freewing

I've collected a number of the Flyfly 1500kv motors. After testing with higher blade count fans like the supplied Haoye and CS 12 blade, I've concluded that they are only good for a very light model, or perhaps ideal for a twin. Certainly worth the $15 extra when ordering a kit!
I don't know what servos FF supplies but the EMAX servos that came with my HTG L39 are garbage and I wish that I never used them as I've been slowly replacing them as they begin to fail.
Zen thinking * It's rebuildable till it fits back in the box. **
