Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone?

Well I guess you all answered my question. I will post photos as soon as I can. I am pulling most of the equipment out of my 42% EG Raven and the airframe is for sale.

I thought that the plane would arrive today, noooooo goooooo! Maybe tomorrow. That's ok, still working on my 40% Decathlon. I'll post pics as soon as I have the boxes in hand.

My boxes arrived yesterday from AMR!!!!! All appears great, and I am blown away by the size. I will start to unpack and take some pics tomorrow.

Looking forward to watching this go together. We have had 4 IMAC contests in Alberta for a few years now. There is a pretty good chance that we will move one of the Calgary contests up to "Alberta's littlest airport" in Bawlf (near Camrose) for this upcoming season. We are also looking at doing a IMAC bootcamp/judging seminar in that area as well. Keep an eye out for notices here on a RCC.

Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone?

Well just started to get things going. I managed to get the fuse onto my build stand and I painted up the landing gear. Think I will adorn this one with some stars......

Re: 40% Pilot RC Build Anyone?

Yes, I built it so that I could easily move the plane around and have it at a nice height to work at. I attached a pair of my extra gear legs onto a Kregg T-Track so I could adjust for smaller gear sizes. As well the vertical supports will slide along the longer horizontal support for different sixed fuses.
