Re: Transportation services!!!

This is a great idea, especially with the Canadian dollar being so low. Lots of people are buying used. Maybe we can even have some people who cross the border often get helped out for their time.

Ditto that as I'm still waiting for someone with a Van who can bring a medium size jet for me...

Re: Transportation services!!!

Down the road a ways, but will put this out there, for future consideration. Retiring from the RCAF, most likely Apr-Jun 16. We're in Halifax, and will be driving to Victoria, B.C. We will have 12 days to make the trip, and will hit most major cities along the way. Have a truck with canopy, and 37 foot RV, with 8 foot toy-hauler section. When we get close to the actual date, I'll post again, and add dates/cities, so if you're looking for something R/C and large to go West, we can make it happen.

Re: Transportation services!!!

I'm looking at something that would need to come from Montreal area to the left coast. Not too big but still bigger than can be boxed.

Let us know when you're dates are closer.

Re: Transportation services!!!

Dave, congrats on the pending parole. It will come before you know it. With the list of equipment it looks like you're replanting on the west coast.

My luck anything I hope for will show up a week later. As it stands now the best deals are already out west.

Re: Transportation services!!!

Timeframe for the drive is looking to be around Mid-May, and essentially Trans-Canada all the way, from Halifax to Victoria. Once dates are firmed up, I'll post, along with any built RC stuff that I'm looking to sell along the way. We'll be sure to post as well in the future for any hauls we do, once we're fully retired, although most of that will be North-South. Could be handy though, if people are looking for stuff in the US, and I'm pretty good at going over an aircraft and determining value. Hopefully we can help out some people along the way.

Re: Transportation services!!!

I wasn't sure these old jets would squeeze into the Smart... but in they went.. (BVM Shark and Marcel Mirage).

Delivered successfully from Picton to Mississauga.
