Everything was mint until I mounted the wings under my car to gain some extra gas mileage. It created some steering issues when I got too much lift, so I moved them back inside. Unfortunately, this stripped most of the covering. Luckily, I was able to add a thick layer of dust and the new owner didn't notice.

Re: Transportation services!!!

A couple of years ago I saw what looked to be 4 or 5 planes stuffed into a Smart at the Goderich Scale Event. Still can't figure out the math on that one.

Was that you?

Re: Transportation services!!!

Nope.. never been to a scale event.

I am curious to know what size planes he was able to put in there. The 'box' for available space is roughly 58"x20"x27" (LxWxH), though I could find a little more room if something partially rests on the dash up towards the windshield.

Re: Transportation services!!!

I believe the smallest was a 40 size. Still, that could mean wings of 36" on up.

As I said, math did not add up, but I came to the same conclusion in southwest England while on a coach tour with the wife. Coach was at least 12' wide, roads looked to be 20 and traffic was moving both ways. Go figure.

Re: Transportation services!!!

I bought a foamy AT6 Texan model in Oshawa last week and I like to know if there is someone coming from Oshawa to Mississauga who can bring it for me. We'll work something out for ur time or gas.

Thanks in advance

Re: Transportation services!!!

Heading from Calgary to Vernon this weekend to pick up a large project. Taking my truck and enclosed trailer. If you have something that needs to go west or come back east, let me know. All I ask is for some help with the gas bill. Trailer is 6' x 12'.
