Curare Pattern plane. Never Flown. Not sure if a motor has ever been mounted either.

I don't think that I'm going to get to this one, picked it up last year, but haven't found the time, or the hangar space to work on it. The plane is in perfect condition, and includes the mechanical retracts, with servos. The fuel tank is installed, and the lines look to be in good shape. There is a motor mount installed, but I have no idea what motor it's drilled for. In addition to the plane as seen in the pictures, I also have a second main wing, that is built and ready for paint or covering. Ailerons and flaps need to be installed, but I have the wood for them as well. The paint job on the fuselage isn't great, but it isn't terrible either. The plane could be absolutely perfect with a better paint job, but that's beyond my abilities. I am frequently travelling between Newmarket and Niagara falls, so could deliver anywhere within a reasonable distance of the QEW/403/427 area. If you are willing to pay actual shipping, and the cost of materials to make a box, I would be willing to ship it, but I think it would be cost prohibitive. This plane is designed around a strong .61 nitro motor. I wouldn't go any smaller, but within reason, some bigger motors could also fit. Supertiger 90 for example.

Re: Curare Pattern Plane

Nice plane! I would've definitely bought this bird from you if I was a bit closer! I will start building the same plane in a month or so. Good luck with your sale!

Re: Curare Pattern Plane

This plane is sold to Cloudniner.

I think that the OS Gasser that Ed got is a 90 isn't it? Probably would work nicely in this type of plane. I don't think a .60 size gasser would have enough grunt, better to stay with nitro.
