We are so happy with our second Sabre (to replace the first). It is a lovely flier and is large enough to see well. Considering how old this design is, I'm surprised it was never upgraded to a more sturdy and reliable plane.
Tim's Mercury Alloy fan does have some noise to it as do the pair we have. In the future I will attempt to do some dynamic balancing to fine tune the basic job that came from the factory.
One thing we added to Tim's was a gyro the same as ours after its maiden flight. It really smooths out any air turbulence and makes flying more fun.
