Do you know this truck???

Hi everybody...
I recently had my beloved Traxxas Tmaxx stolen from my truck. In an effort to replace it (partially), I picked up a used nitro truck for a really great price. The price was great because I have to replace some parts and do a tune on the engine. no prob, right? The truck was sold as an HPI Savage XL but when I look at replacement parts, they don't look the same. so maybe it isn't a Savage XL.
I snapped a bunch of pics. and thought I would put it out to the community to see if anybody recognizes this beast. have a look at the pics and let me know if it looks familiar. I can take more pics from other angles if needed.
Thanks

Re: Do you know this truck???

it's definitely not a savage, it looks like it could be an old CEN. The separate throttle and brake servo is odd and I've only ever seen that on a CEN

Re: Do you know this truck???

As was already said, it's not a Savage. I have no idea what it is.

Based on the pictures, I would tear that thing right down and rebuild if you are planning on running it. From the few pictures I can see pieces missing, and lots of rigging...like the bicycle tube (I think) exhaust coupler.

Another option is too dump it and get a Savage...best RC truck I've owned. They take an incredible amount of abuse and are easy to get parts for and repair. Performance is also great. I wouldn't look at anything else if I was in the market for an RC monster truck.
