More work done on the FW. I ran the outer tubes for the control wires. I did not follow the plans, the elevator setup is supposed to run up the vertical stab, to a pivot point, down to the elevator, another pivot point, none of which looks to be accessible after construction. Purpose of that, is to snake it's way around the tailwheel retract unit, which is air (ICK!), and huge. Not going that route. So elevator will be traditional hidden unit, underneath, with access for any inspection/maintenance. Single rudder/steering rod. Once the tubes were in, then secured each at each fuse bulkhead. After that, sheeted the belly. Next was working on the engine exhaust cutouts, similar to what you'd find on the Sea Fury, and other radial engine fighters. With that done, it's time to tackle the aft turtledeck. Last pic, was my Saturday fun, stacking 3 chords of firewood, instead of building. Yay.
