Horizon customer service

I bought a Spektrum receiver in September of this year and the throttle quit last week. I tried it with 2 different ESC's and motors with no luck. Last Wednesday I e-mailed Horizon to ask what I should do, the following day I received a reply informing me they would send a replacement. Today I received that replacement.
That is looking after a customer, here's to Horizon Hobby.

Re: Horizon customer service

They have been great to me on a number of occasions. Even when I asked them about an issue I was having and expected them to say no they replace a part for free.

Re: Horizon customer service

Yes another good review for sure. Very nice when a company looks after their customers with good service. Very hard to find koodos to Horizon Hobbies.

Re: Horizon customer service

I've heard/read lots of good things about Horizon's customer service. You read the odd bad thing as well, but in this business I'm sure there are lots of people trying to take advantage of the manufacturer's...ie. I crashed my plane but I'm going to say it was caused by a defect to see if I can get a new one for free.

Their record is really impressive for how large they are.

Re: Horizon customer service

I sent a Saito back for warrantee repair twice with the same problem and ended up with a brand new motor from Horizon. I've also had the same great dealings with Hitec customer service. Two of the best that I know of. Cheers Floyd

Re: Horizon customer service

Same experience here. Their customer service is fantastic! I had an out of the box problem with an MCPX heli board. They replaced it without asking for proof of purchase. Same with a 40 amp E-flite ESC, flew it once the it died in the air immediately, they sent me a new one no questions asked.
